KP2201 is a high-performance current-mode PWM controller for offline flyback converters. The chip integrates high-voltage start-up, input power-off detection and X-capacitor discharge functions, which can meet the requirements of fast start-up and ultra-low standby (typical value <30mW@230Vac). The chip adopts green energy-saving mode, hiccup mode, mid-load valley conduction mode, and heavy-load enters CCM mode to optimize system efficiency, which can easily meet the six-level energy efficiency requirements.KP2201 has a built-in high-precision 65KHz switching frequency oscillator, which integrates functions such as slope compensation, soft start, frequency shaking technology, and loop gain adjustment. The stability, reliability and electromagnetic compatibility of the system have been greatly improved. In addition, the ultra-wide operating voltage of VDD is very suitable for adapters with wide voltage output such as PD fast charging.
